Dear Friends,

As a result of your generosity this year, we were able to drop off 7 large bags of coats and blankets, many of them brand new, at Ritter House in San Rafael just before Christmas. The staff at Ritter House were extremely happy to have your donations, especially in light of the cold, rainy weather we have had recently. We would like to thank all of you who collected or purchased coats and blankets and delivered them to our office. Wishing all of you the very best in 2010-- peace, good health, prosperity, happiness. Best wishes to you in all that you do.

Dear Friends,

With the Holiday Season approaching, there are many things for which we, here in Marin County, can be grateful. Particularly at this time of year, many of us want to express our gratitude by doing something to help those who may be less fortunate. Unfortunately, because of the fast pace of life today, with its packed schedules and seemingly nonstop demands on our time, many of us are not able to volunteer our services as much as we would like. Still, we would like to make a contribution.

Again this year, our office is helping to sponsor a program called One Warm Coat. Very simply, we collect new or gently used coats and blankets for the use of those who cannot afford to purchase them for themselves. If you would like to support this effort, please just drop off your donation at my office at 500 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard (“The Castle”, corner of SFD Blvd. and La Cuesta) in Greenbrae. If you are not able to drop off your donation, please give me a call and I’ll be happy to pick it up from you. Please feel free to call if you have questions about the program. We will be collecting these items from now until December 18.
